Bay State Progress is a statewide group of social justice donors and donor advisors committed to building an impactful and diverse progressive movement, and a more reflective democracy in Massachusetts.
We secure and align the funding needed to power and grow all aspects of our progressive civic infrastructure. We analyze and fund gaps in BIPOC-led civic empowerment, work tirelessly to pass bold progressive legislation, and support increasing community-based civic participation — across the state and at all levels of government and civic leadership — by supporting organizations performing critical, on-the-ground work for progressive change.

We are dedicated to advancing a more inclusive and equitable progressive agenda for Massachusetts by understanding our unique local needs; centering support and partnership with community-based, women and BIPOC-led organizations to ensure authentic representation and empowerment; and keeping our funding fully focused on change efforts in Massachusetts.
Our funding is 100% directed to work in Massachusetts.
With Bay State Progress, funding and advocacy is dedicated exclusively to efforts in Massachusetts and fully invested in building strong, progressive civic infrastructure here. We bring funding and strategic resources to where it is needed most, to fuel work that is critical to making Massachusetts the most progressive state in the country by uplifting and empowering historically underrepresented and marginalized communities.
